The mission of Kappa Foundation of Georgia, Inc. is to assist the African-American Community in its quest to move families away from dependency, to move families toward self-sufficiency, to assist families to take responsibility for their lives, and to promote parental values associated with independence, literacy, educational achievement, employment, and family cohesiveness. Therefore, our goal is to strengthen the African-American Community.

Student Of The Year Scholarship Competition
The program highlights, celebrates, and encourages academic achievement. The Foundation identifies students with college aspirations who are willing to compete academically for scholarships. The Foundation calls upon high school counselors and upward bound programs to assist in the identification of students with college aspirations who are willing to compete academically for scholarships.
