Student Debate Competition
The High School Student Debate Competition provides students an opportunity to hone and highlight their academic skills in a formalized yet competitive setting. Students are given five questions that can range from affordable health care to include information on how certain health problems affect men and women, retirement planning, and political issues that affect their communities, etc. Students are selected and provided by educators and counselors of high schools within Metro‐Atlanta. Each student is given topics to research and formulate their positions for debate thirty days prior to event. Students are professionally judged and awarded cash scholarship prizes at the end of the debate. All donations are graciously accepted. However, Donors can contribute as Patrons‐‐$50, Bronze‐‐$250, Silver‐$1,500, Gold ‐‐ $2,500, and Diamond‐$5,000 or above. Our annual scholarship goal is $10,000.
